"Invisible"
Love These Faces
I had the recent urge to make yet another attempt to get just one picture of my kids together. So I bribed the kids with an opportunity to go see the ducks. We changed their clothes and away we went. Marshall snapped most of the pictures while I corralled kids and bribed them with chips. Here are the fruits of our labor.

Go Galaxy!
Jack just finished up his first season of soccer a couple weeks ago. Overall he had a good time playing and definitely improved as the season progressed. He was probably on the most laid back team in the whole league, and that was definitely a good thing. Anna had a great time playing with her friend, Finley, and Sam loved running on the sidelines. After his last game we had a pizza party and all the kids got medals. He was pretty excited about that and even took his soccer medal to show and tell that week at school.
Jack started out as goalie in this last game. Like father, like son!

Celebrating Two
Sam's actual birthday was Saturday and we wanted to do something fun as a family so we loaded up the car and headed to EdVenture in Columbia. We've never been before because I was waiting for just the right time and this was perfect. Grammy even surprised the kids and met us there to have fun with the kids on Sam's special day.
The birthday boy is ready to ride!
Sam was petrified of the giant boy (Eddie, for those of you familiar with EdVenture) when you first walk in the door, so we quickly moved past him into the firetruck.
After shopping, we stopped by the farm to plow the field, pick peaches, milk a cow, gather eggs, and let Grammy rock Lucy for a while.
After that we cooked, worked on a construction site, did a little plumbing, played upstairs and had a snack, went back downstairs to cook, clean teeth, and do an operation.
We specifically saved the water fun for last and that was a good thing because everyone was soaked by the end and had to change clothes.
After we changed everyone into dry clothes we headed to Groucho's in Five Points for lunch. Sam didn't get to choose his birthday restaurant, Mama and Daddy did, and boy was it good!
After Groucho's we headed to Krispy Kreme for a special birthday doughnut, but poor Sam just couldn't hang with the big kids. He didn't even flinch when we got him out of the car, so he just slept right though dessert while everyone else celebrated for him.
This is one tired guy!
Once we got home, Sam was awake and ready to go, so he finally got his birthday doughnut while we sang happy birthday to him.
After that we gave Sam his birthday gift, a water table, and filled up the pool for the first time this year. Everyone had a great time playing in the water.
It was a super fun day for all of us and I think our new two year old had the most fun of all!
