The First of Many Matching Outfits

Anna already had these jammies, so when I saw some in Lucy's size on clearance I just had to buy them! Anna LOVED matching her sister today!

Swing Pictures

The big kids were playing in the back yard this afternoon and Lucy and I were hanging out on the porch watching. Anna wanted to hold Lucy on the swing so I grabbed the camera. Once we got there everyone wanted to be in the picture. I love it!

As I was snapping this picture, I had a flashback to another picture I took more than three years ago.

Now that same stubby big brother is a long and lanky big brother who loves holding onto his baby sister.

Love it and love them!

One Month

Our little Lucy is one month old today. She is such an easy-going baby, which is such a blessing to her mama and daddy! She's starting to stay awake a little more these days and is usually content to hang out awake for about an hour or so before she's ready for a nap. While she's pretty good on the go, she prefers to sleep in her bed. Just don't wake her up from a good nap in her bed to put her in the car seat and expect her to go back to sleep. She doesn't really like a paci, but will take one very briefly on occasion. She still wants to eat about every three hours, but has been known to go up to 5 hours on several occasions during the night, though this is not consistent. We're definitely getting used to life with an infant and our baby Lucy certainly is adored and loved by her siblings and her parents!

It's really difficult to get a good picture of a baby without a backbone so this is the best I could get on her one month birthday.

She looks so chubby in the other picture that I wanted to show just how tiny she still is.

Saturday at the Zoo

Marshall had the weekend off and we decided to take advantage of this beautiful weather and brave the zoo Saturday (along with everyone else in Columbia). Despite the crowds, we all had a great time!

Anna LOVED the aquarium.

Jack decided this kangaroo was just resting, not actually sleeping. It was pretty neat to get so close to them.

The gorilla actually "cooperated" and we were able to see him through the glass. It was super crowded, though, so Marshall held Sam up so he could see.

Near the end, Sam was tired and since Lucy was strapped to me, we put him in her car seat and he enjoyed being wheeled around.

This is what Lucy did the second half of our zoo visit. Apparently she wasn't too impressed with the animals.

Sandbox and Swing

We have loved this warm weather lately and have really been spending a lot of time outside in the back yard. Today the kids rediscovered the sandbox and had a great time.

I know it's not the most lady-like picture, but for some reason I love it!

Lucy slept while we were outside but later got to enjoy some time in her swing. Our sweet baby will be four weeks old tomorrow!

More Pics of Those McCravy Kids

I thought getting a picture of three kids was difficult, but four is obviously even harder! My new bribe in trying to get a good picture is "Who wants to hold Lucy?" - I say that and they come running! Usually Jack or Anna hold her first but Sam pulls at her the whole time until he gets a turn. Then we try to actually take pictures of all four of them together.

Today Jack requested to hold her in the chair because as he told me, "sitting on the floor is killing my back!" He certainly is a proud big brother.

The View From Where I Sit

I had the camera in the car so we took some pictures while waiting to pick up Jack from school today. Then we had to take a few more once he got in. Apparently having a full car equals having a full heart - at least it's true in our case!
