Day 5 (and 6)

An attempt to get a picture with Granny & Grandy after going out for breakfast.

Daddy built a tunnel for Jack's truck and he was in heaven!

Oh, and this boy - the one I'm usually with 24/7 - rolled over for the first time this week when Marshall and I went on a date night and I missed it! What a stinker!

Thursday afternoon, my friend Lisa and her boys, who live nearby, came to play with us on the beach. It was great to see her and catch up a little, and the kids had fun playing together.

(I think - I still have a hard time telling them apart!)

The kids enjoyed popsicles on the deck after a fun afternoon of playing.

Day 6
At this point we were in our last day and I figured we had more than enough pictures of my kids with sand and water so I just played without taking any pictures - can you believe it?!

I did snap one of this goofy little boy, though.

And I do have two pictures from the day. The kids started their day by feeding the birds with Granny (eww!).

Then they had fun taking a bath in G & G's jacuzzi "with all the bubbles" at the end of the day.

We had a fun week.
The weather was great, we had fun times with family, and good memories were made - you can't beat that!

Day 4

More standing in the water and digging in the sand, but I just couldn't leave these pictures out.

Day 3

Tuesday morning the kids woke up early enough to watch the sunrise on Grandy & Granny's deck. Thankfully they shared that special moment with their grandparents and not me since I was still in bed at the time!

We hit the beach pretty early that morning since we were already up at the crack of dawn - literally!

The biggest hit on the beach this day was the bulldozer!

Waving bye-bye to the bulldozer as it heads off to do work somewhere else.

There's nothing like a good nap on the beach.

Enjoying popsicles on the beach (ignore our ghetto tent that finally fell apart for the last time - we trashed it after this day).

Sam enjoyed a little light reading while on vacation.

After naps, Granny and I took the kids out to dinner and to play on a playground.

Oh, and we had a special ice cream treat afterwards.
