Ponies!

Our MOMS Club went to Fort Gordon yesterday for pony rides and a picnic. We had SO MUCH FUN!! The kids were ecstatic about the idea of riding the ponies. If you don't know already, horses are a really big deal where we live and we see them a lot. Jack has been asking to ride a pony again for a while now and yesterday was his day.

When we arrived, Sam did this. . .

while everyone else did this.

Eventually the ponies and helmets were ready and Anna insisted on wearing a helmet even though she wasn't in the first group of riders.

And we're off!
The moms led the ponies along a trail and through the "jungle" (according to Jack and his friends).

The ponies took a break for hay and water while the next group got ready.

She kept reminding me all day long, "They're not horsies, mommy, they ponies!"

Jack's turn again. Thankfully the other wonderful moms took turns watching Sam so I could go with Jack and Anna on the ponies.

After the pony rides, we had a wonderful picnic . . .

and played on all three of the super fun playgrounds!
