Surfside Beach 2010 - Days 1 and 2

What a week! We had so much fun living it up at the beach this past week. The weather was perfect - we were able to hit the beach every day. Jack loved the ocean (as long as it wasn't above his shins) and became more and more confidant in the pool every day. Anna spent most of her time digging, collecting shells, and eating popsicles by the pool. Sam had absolutely no fear and was braver than either of the others when it came to both the ocean and the pool.

Most days we were up at dawn, had breakfast, slathered on the SPF 50, hit the beach, then the pool, and were back inside by 11:00 am! Usually we went back for round two on the beach and the pool once everyone got their afternoon naps in. We had lots of fun with Granny & Grandy and had a wonderful vacation.

We rolled into town Saturday afternoon and immediately hit the pool.

Day 2 we were on the beach bright and early.

We lived in the pink house all week.

Anna is still a little nervous about the ocean.

Later that afternoon, Sam discovered digging could be so much fun!
